The 2024 World Men’s Curling Championship is set to take place at the ice arena in the KSS Sports Complex in Schaffhausen, Switzerland from March 30th to April 7th. The tournament will feature 13 teams from around the world, including reigning champions Scotland led by skip Bruce Mouat. However, they will face tough competition from countries like Sweden led by Niklas Edin, Team Canada with Brad Gushue as the skip, and Italy led by Joel Retornaz.
The competition will begin with a round-robin event where all teams will play against each other once. The top six teams after all games are played will advance to the next stage of the competition, with the top two teams automatically moving on to the semi-finals. Meanwhile, the remaining four teams will battle it out in a play-off for the last two spots.
