Keep track of JMU Women’s Basketball transfers in 2024 with our Transfer Portal Tracker on JMU Sports News

The 2024 Women’s Basketball Transfer Portal Tracker, sponsored by Three Notch’d Brewing, keeps track of any changes to the roster of the JMU women’s basketball team. This offseason, while significant turnover is not expected, there have already been some notable changes to the Dukes’ roster.

Ro Scott from Marshall has joined the JMU Women’s Basketball team as a graduate transfer guard. In the 2022-23 season, Scott led the Thundering Herd in scoring and is considered a quality scorer from the Sun Belt conference. Despite playing only six games in the 2023-24 season, she is expected to provide an offensive boost to the Dukes and has one year of eligibility remaining.

On the other hand, Chloe Sterling has left the program after playing as one of the team’s point guards in the 2023-24 season. Sterling was a key player for the team, leading them with 87 assists and showcasing scoring potential. Fans had hoped that Sterling would stay in Harrisonburg and develop into an All-Conference player at the mid-major level.
