The new Q27G3XMN/BK 27-inch monitor from AOC is an affordable option for gamers looking for HDR gaming. It features MiniLED backlighting that supports 336 dimming zones and is VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certified, which allows it to display deep black tones and the brightest points on the same screen. The Full Range Local Dimming (FALD) backlight solution enhances the HDR experience by allowing some parts of the screen to be completely black while keeping others at a very high brightness.

The monitor’s Fast VA panel offers QHD (2560×1440) resolution and produces 1.07 billion colors with a color depth of 10 bits (8 bits + FRC), high color gamut coverage (+95% DCI-P3). It offers a 180Hz refresh rate and 1ms GtG response, making it ideal for fast-paced gaming.

To make your gaming experience more comfortable, the monitor is equipped with an ergonomic stand that offers numerous options for height, tilt, rotation and adjustment, as well as Flicker-Free technology and Low Blue, which should protect your eyes during prolonged gaming. Additionally, the Shadow Control option allows gamers to adjust shadow levels and highlights to customize the visual experience of gaming.

For FPS gaming where the sight is missing, Covering the sight (Dial Point) allows you to aim accurately. The OSD features of the monitor can also be adjusted using the AOC G-Menu software or simply using the OSD buttons on the monitor itself.

The monitor will be available in November at a suggested retail price of €399.
