Apple’s Vision Pro: Once Exciting, Now Fading – The Mixed Reality Device Faces Uncertain Future.

Apple’s mixed reality device, the Vision Pro, is experiencing a decline in interest, according to a report by Mark Gurman. Fewer people are making appointments to test the viewers and sales have decreased significantly. Gurman notes that some Apple Stores are barely selling a few Vision Pros in a week, compared to two a day previously. Demand for demonstrations of the device has also dropped since its launch, with people who book appointments no longer showing up at stores.

The initial excitement surrounding the launch of the Vision Pro in February appears to have faded, leading to a decrease in interest in the device. One reason for this decline could be the limited availability and high price of the product, starting at $3,500 in the US. This makes it a niche product with a smaller target audience. Additionally, Gurman suggests that in the US, owners of the device may no longer find it as attractive due to lack of additional applications and potential inconvenience of using it in public places.

The declining interest in Apple’s mixed reality device raises questions about its future and potential success in the market. With fewer people testing and purchasing it and declining sales, Apple may need to reconsider its marketing strategies and product offerings if it wants to revitalize interest in the device.
