Elon Musk, the world’s richest man with a fortune of 241 billion dollars, and owner of Tesla and X, has responded to a tweet in support of Javier Milei, the new president of Argentina. Musk is not only a prominent figure in global politics but also an influential businessman. He has previously commented on Tucker Carlson’s interview with Milei, which he found “interesting.”

Other international figures have also weighed in on Milei’s victory in the Argentine election. Tucker Carlson tweeted a photo with the president-elect, while Kimdotcom, founder of Megaupload, tweeted about the issue with a video by Javier Milei. The founder of Mercado Libre, Marcos Galperín, also made his views known by tweeting after Javier Milei’s victory in the runoff with Sergio Massa. Galperín also responded to a Peronist councilor from Lanús, Agustín Ballardes, whom he had crossed paths with during the election.

Sergio Massa, the presidential candidate of Unión por la Patria (UxP), recognized his defeat in the runoff against Javier Milei and called for a transition underway for the change of Government on December 10. He expressed hope that Argentina would abandon the climate of tension and emphasized the responsibility of the elected president to provide certainty and guarantees about the political, social, and economic functioning of Argentina.
