As of April 26, the Armenian government has installed a total of 28 border posts as part of the coordinate adjustment works on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. This represents approximately 35 percent of the planned works. The expert groups from both countries are continuing their work on the border, with the Armenian side reporting ongoing progress. In addition to the border posts, 20 border signs have been placed along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border. However, specific demarcation works near the Kirantsi bridge in Tavush marz region are not visible at this time.
Previously, Deputy Chairman of the Defense Committee of Parliament, Armen Khachatryan, had informed “Azatutyan” that the border demarcation process in Tavush and Kazakh sectors had already been completed. This progress on the border posts and signs is part of ongoing efforts to delineate the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
