Billy Smith and Langdon Hatton have been named to the 2023-24 College Sports Communicators’ Academic All-District Team. This prestigious team recognizes the top student-athletes in the nation for their outstanding performances both on the court and in the classroom.

Billy Smith, a sophomore psychology major, had an impressive season with averages of 5.8 points and a 34.6 percent shooting percentage from three-point range. In his first season since transferring from Miami (OH), he scored a season-high 17 points in a game against Berea.

He had five double-doubles during the season, including a standout performance with 27 points and 12 rebounds in a game against Kennesaw State.
