While Kentucky was ranked at number 12, this was slightly disappointing for some. Nonetheless, Brad Crawford from 247 Sports believes that the Wildcats are expected to be one of the faster teams in the league, thanks to standout players like Barion Brown and Dane Key. Much of Kentucky’s success this season will depend on new offensive coordinator Bush Hamdan’s ability to integrate first-year QB Brock Vandagriff with these speedy players.

Despite losing key players like running back Ray Davis, it is believed that Kentucky will excel in the trenches with experienced linemen leading the team.
