The Florida Department of Health in Sarasota County has recently announced that the advisory for high bacterial levels at Bird Key Park/Ringling Bridge Causeway Park has been lifted. This decision was made after tests conducted on Monday, June 17 revealed that the water quality at the park had returned to acceptable levels of Enterococcus bacteria as per state guidelines.

Residents and visitors can now enjoy the water at Bird Key Park/Ringling Bridge Causeway Park without any concerns about high bacterial levels. The test results indicating improved water quality are available on FloridaHealth.gov/HealthyBeaches.
