Wisconsin hunters are excited for the upcoming deer hunting opener, which coincides with the wrap-up of Minnesota’s rifle hunting season for deer. Several hunting supplies stores have given helpful tips for making the most out of their hunting season.
Scott Miller, an employee from Northwest Outlet, advised hunters to wear layers and have wool socks during their trip. “We’ve got this one weekend of overlap where there’s guys still hunting in Minnesota and everybody’s getting out and starting in Wisconsin,” he said. “Wisconsin hunters are hit it a little bit harder because they only have one week to get their gear.” However, Miller added that everyone should prioritize safety while enjoying the hunt.
Pat Kukull, the co-owner of Superior Shooters Supply, advised young hunters to exercise patience during the Wisconsin Deer Hunting season. With a rush for both Minnesota and Wisconsin hunters, Kukull believes that customers should be well-prepared by sighting their guns in early.
