USC misses out on recruiting four-star receiver Jayvan Boggs

On the Fourth of July, Jayvan Boggs, a talented four-star wide receiver from Cocoa, Florida, made the decision to commit to Missouri. He announced his commitment live on the Rivals Instagram page, showcasing his excitement for joining the Tigers’ football program.

Jayvan Boggs has the potential to be a multi-year starter in a Power Four conference. According to Andrew Ivins, the director of scouting at 247Sports, Boggs’ skill set and readiness could see him contributing to the team sooner rather than later.

Boggs’ impressive junior season earned him a spot on the 2023 MaxPreps High School Football Junior All-America Team. He garnered national and all-state recognition for his outstanding performance, which included 93 receptions for 1,493 yards and 23 touchdowns.

Despite receiving offers from over two dozen schools, including UCF, USC, Florida, Georgia, and Notre Dame
