The Live Healthy Gwinnett program is hosting a community health fair in support of Mental Health Awareness Month on Saturday, May 11. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the George Pierce Park Community Recreation Center in Suwanee, according to Gwinnett County officials.
The project coordinator, Carion Marcelin, expressed excitement about the health fair, stating, “We are thrilled to host this community health fair to promote mental health awareness and empower residents with valuable resources and information.”
The event is free of charge and will include interactive demonstrations, health screenings, and opportunities to connect with local agencies. CareSource and GUIDE, Inc. are sponsoring the event.
By coming together as a community, we can break the stigma surrounding mental health and encourage individuals to prioritize their well-being.”
