Building a Strong Cybersecurity Ecosystem: HWG Sababa Showcases Expertise at National Conference

The National Conference for the Creation of a Cyber Capacity Building Ecosystem took place on Tuesday, July 2. Organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation along with the Agency for National Cybersecurity (ACN), the conference aimed to create a systemic approach within the Italian cybersecurity sector to compete on the global stage.

The proceedings were opened by notable figures like Vice President of the Council and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Antonio Tajani, Minister of the Interior Matteo Piantedosi, and Director General of the Agency for National Cybersecurity Bruno Frattasi. The objective was to engage relevant Italian players in the cybersecurity sector to establish a cybersecurity ecosystem that could compete internationally.

Alessio Aceti, CEO of HWG Sababa, expressed the company’s commitment to supporting cyber skills building and implementing security operation center processes and systems. From protection and access management systems to designing OT solutions for safeguarding critical infrastructures, HWG Sababa covers a broad range of cybersecurity services. HWG Sababa showcased its expertise, experience, and know-how in cybersecurity to institutional and private stakeholders present during the conference. The company highlighted its work in South America, Asia, and the Middle East while emphasizing its focus on providing cybersecurity systems to emerging countries’ central banks and collaborating with universities, research centers, and competence centers.
