Building Upgrades and Permit Values on the Rise in Willmar: February 2024 Report

In February 2024, the city of Willmar issued a total of 42 building, mechanical, and plumbing permits with a combined value of $591,310. Notable permits included a commercial re-roofing permit for 800 19th Ave. S.W., valued at $159,930, and issued to Bruce Torell with Leaders Manufacturing. Other permits with values exceeding $20,000 included a fire alarm system for an apartment building, a commercial re-roofing project, a residential re-siding project, and a fire alarm system update for Carris Health.

With the addition of these February permits, Willmar has issued a total of $1,162,205 in permit values so far in 2024. The complete report can be found on the city website at willmarmn.gov under “Building Activity Reports” on the Planning and Development Department’s page.
