West Seattle Crime Watch: Two Business Burglaries, Safe Found; Interrupted Car Prowler

There were four crime reports in West Seattle today. The first two were business burglaries, both of which involved the theft of safes. At the Morgan Junction Domino’s, a crash-and-grab burglary occurred and the safe was taken. However, there was no major damage to the business. Another pizza burglary happened at A Pizza Mart, but the time of the incident was not specified.

Later in the day, a safe was found dumped south of The Junction. A reader emailed in a photo and report about the safe, but it is unclear if it is the one stolen from Domino’s. The safe was located in an alley between California and 42nd, south of Edmunds.

The last crime report came from the North Admiral/Schmitz Park area where a car prowl was interrupted just before 5 am. The suspect was seen checking car handles and attempting to enter a vehicle, but they were scared off by a neighbor before any theft occurred.
