CalPortland Licenses Solidia Technology for Reduced Carbon Footprint in Cement and Concrete Industries

Solidia Technologies and CalPortland have recently entered into a technology licensing agreement that allows CalPortland to use Solidia’s patents for reducing the carbon footprint of cement and concrete by up to 50%. The agreement grants CalPortland limited rights to develop low carbon solutions using Solidia’s technology. In addition to the licensing, CalPortland has also acquired certain laboratory and plant assets from Solidia.

Russell Hill, CEO of Solidia Technologies, expressed his excitement about the partnership with CalPortland. He highlighted CalPortland’s strong commitment to decarbonization in the cement and concrete industries, which aligns well with the goals of Solidia.
