Welcome to the 1st Annual Public Health Celebration & Resource Fair! This event is all about learning and promoting public health, which is focused on protecting and improving the well-being of individuals and communities. Join us in celebrating National Public Health Week, Black Student Success Week, and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Awareness Month.
By attending this event, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from experts in the field and engage with community resources. Our keynote speakers include Dr. Ashanti Carter from CDU and Director Alison King from LBHHS. They will lead a career panel that will provide valuable insights into the field of public health.
For those who RSVP, check-in, and attend the resource fair, you’ll receive free food while supplies last. You can find more information on the event flyer. If you need sign language interpreting services or Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) services, please contact us at least 72 hours before the event for students or 5 business days before the event for faculty and staff. Requests will be based on provider availability.
We hope to see you at this exciting event! Let’s come together to support public health and celebrate our diversity.
