Celebrating Children’s Joy: Denver Museum of Nature and Science Hosts Dia del Niño Event

On April 28th, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science will play host to a special celebration in honor of Dia del Niño, a national holiday in Mexico that celebrates Children’s Day. This day is all about honoring the joy, innocence, and fun that children bring to our lives. The Mexican Cultural Center has partnered with the museum to make this event possible, and it promises to be a memorable experience for everyone involved.

The event will feature music, dance, and various activities for people of all ages to enjoy. It’s a great opportunity for families to come together and celebrate their heritage while also learning more about the natural world around us. The Mexican Cultural Center Executive Director, Rachel Garcia, highlights the importance of children in Latino and Mexican culture and encourages everyone to come out and enjoy this special day.

Dia del Niño takes place at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science starting at 9 a.m. on Sunday morning. Admission is free, with half off admission to the “Orcas” exhibit and Planetarium shows. Whether you’re a child or an adult, there’s something for everyone at this dynamic and fun-filled event. So don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to celebrate Children’s Day in style!
