The Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce honored Dave Guiler, owner of Premier Entertainment Group LLC, as their Small Business Person of the Year during an award luncheon commemorating Small Business Week 2024. Guiler was chosen from a pool of finalists that included Joshue Bane of Evergreen Creative Co., Reginald Greenwood of Sister’s Soul Express, and Sandi Hodge of Shute Pecan Co. Inc.
Guiler expressed his gratitude for the recognition and emphasized the importance of showcasing Premier’s services for large concerts and events in Dothan and nationwide. He conveyed his pride in representing both the city of Dothan and the entertainment industry with this prestigious award, highlighting the joy of seeing clients’ dreams come to life during successful shows.
Walt Ellis, Wiregrass Wealth Management and the Chamber’s Membership Development Council chairman, recognized the sacrifices and perseverance necessary to run a successful small business, emphasizing the significance of acknowledging and appreciating small business owners like Guiler. The week’s events also included Surprise Patrol Visits to local businesses and a Women’s Night Out at the Chamber, with the four finalists serving as guest speakers at the award luncheon.
