In Fort Worth this weekend, a free event is being held to celebrate women-owned businesses. The Women’s Market – Sip & Shop is organized by Women Who Collab, a diverse organization founded by Rachel Dickens.
Dickens established the networking group to bring women of all backgrounds together. The group meets quarterly to uplift each other in various aspects of life, careers, and businesses. Inspired by her own experiences growing up as the only girl in a family of boys, Dickens recognized the importance of female friendships.
The Women Who Collab brand will expand on Sunday with a new sip and shop event featuring a pop-up market. The market will showcase products and services owned or made by women. Dickens expressed excitement for the event, which will include different workshops focusing on self-care.
Over 25 women vendors will be present at the event, offering items ranging from jewelry to accessories, boutiques, and self-care products. The public is encouraged to attend and support women-owned businesses at the event.
The Power of Women Market will take place on Sunday, April 28th from 12pm to 4pm at 5th & Carroll Events, located at 2713 W. 5th St. in Fort Worth, Texas 76107.
