On Friday, the Central High School football team will be playing in the PIAA Class 3A playoffs close to home against District 10 champ Hickory. The game will take place at Mansion Park at 7 p.m. This marks Central’s first interdistrict game and they won it in a double-overtime victory over Clearfield.

Cambria Heights, who recently won their first-ever District 6 championship, will be heading to the state Class 1A playoffs with a Saturday matchup against District 4 champ South Williamsport. The game will be played at Williamsport High School at 7 p.m. on Saturday.

On Friday, District 6 2A champ Bald Eagle Area will play at District 4 champ Southern Columbia and District 6 4A champ Juniata will visit District 4 champ Selinsgrove, both games starting at 7 p.m.
