Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) has appointed Collin Lee as their new space business development vice president. Lee previously worked as VP of intelligence systems at General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) mission systems business for five years, which marked the last leg of his 23-year career.
Lee began his career by earning a bachelor’s degree in public administration from James Madison University before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers as senior consultant. He later moved to Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) in 2003, where he held a similar position.
In May 2007, Lee was appointed legislative liaison at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), where he stayed for more than four years before being promoted to director of legislative affairs at the National Security Council.
Lee started his term at GDMS as director of strategy and business development and was also named director of the company’s Frontiers space technology incubator.
