Storage unit robbed by man who stole go-kart, say business owners

In the wake of a daring theft that occurred in broad daylight at Firehouse Antiques and Parkway Mini Storage in South Huntsville, the Huntsville Police Department is seeking assistance from the community to gather additional information on the suspect.

According to business owners, the man was caught on security cameras breaking into storage units at the facility two weeks ago. When confronted by employees, he fled the scene with a stolen go-kart and an electric bicycle attached to the back of his car.

Jeanette Ware, owner of Firehouse Antiques, expressed shock at the brazen theft, which took place in broad daylight. Despite this, Ware and other business owners were able to snap photos of the man and his license plate as he drove away.
