Local Tri-State Company Assisting 12 Families Affected by Weekend Fire

The Red Cross is working closely with Delshire Elementary School to gather gift cards for parents who were affected by the fire at Glenhaven Apartments in Delhi Township on Sunday. The fire occurred around 2:40 a.m., leaving 12 families homeless and in need of assistance. Witnesses reported seeing smoke swirling in the air, but no one was injured in the flames.

Ally Magiliano, owner of ASAP Custom Prints and Apparel, was alerted to the fire by a neighbor at around 2:30 a.m. Despite attempts to use fire extinguishers, the smoke was too thick to allow access to the affected floors. Magiliano immediately started using Facebook to gather donations for the victims, including clothes, toiletries, sheets, towels, and kids’ items. She also collected donations at her print shop and emphasized the need for school supplies and clothes for children to get through the next week.

The community is coming together to support these families in their time of need as they work with local organizations like the Red Cross and Delshire Elementary School to gather aid. If you have any donations or would like more information on how you can help, contact ASAP Custom Prints and Apparel or Delshire Elementary School today.
