NIDA, the lead federal agency supporting scientific research on drug use and addiction, has awarded DLH Holdings a contract to continue providing information technology services. This extension of their partnership began with DLH’s first contract with NIDA in 2014 and includes a base period of one year with four one-year options, for a total value of approximately $23 million.
DLH will provide a range of information technology services for NIDA through this award. These include managing the operations of an integrated advanced clinical/research informatics series of systems that enable researchers to share data and resources in real time. Additionally, the company will be responsible for the research, design, development, and maintenance of clinical and scientific informatics, Intranet applications, and public web pages, as well as IT infrastructure and desktop support. This work is fully funded by the NIH.
