Chief Technology Officer, Ulas Karademir, returns to IO Interactive

Ulas Karademir has been appointed as the new Chief Technical Officer at IO Interactive, the developer behind Hitman and Project 007. After a seven-year absence from the studio, he returns with a wealth of experience having worked at Unity and RealityOS in various leadership roles. In his new position, Karademir will oversee technical operations, continue the development of the company’s Glacier engine, and collaborate with production teams on current projects such as Project 007 and Project Fantasy.

Karademir expressed his excitement about joining IO Interactive again and working with the management team assembled by CEO Hakan Abrak. He highlighted the studio’s reputation for innovation, gameplay, and immersive worlds, committing to further elevating their standards. Abrak praised Karademir’s experience, knowledge, and leadership skills, noting his successful track record at other companies since leaving IO Interactive. With the studio continuing to expand and develop new IPs, Karademir will play a key role in driving innovation within the company.
