Guy Grace, the K-12 National Security Program Manager at ASSA ABLOY Door Security Solutions, has over 38 years of experience in the security industry and has served as the director of security and emergency planning for Littleton Public Schools for over three decades. He was recognized as the 2020 K-12 Campus Safety Director of the Year and has received numerous national and industry awards throughout his career. In the webcast, Grace discussed how schools can effectively implement new security technologies to protect students and staff.

Mike Newton, a SLED Account Executive at Convergint, focuses specifically on school security in Colorado and previously served as the director of safety and security for Elizabeth School District. He was responsible for all aspects of physical security, emergency management, threat assessment, emergency communication, and continuity of operations for the district. Newton received the K-12 Director of the Year Award from Campus Safety during his time at Elizabeth SD. Before working in education, Newton served in both the U.S. Air Force and Colorado Air National Guard.
