Students Gain Valuable Insights at Health Care Professions and Majors Fair.

The Health Education Pathways Program recently hosted a Professions and Majors in Health Care Fair at the Titan Student Union Pavilion on March 12. The event aimed to introduce students to various professional fields and job opportunities in health care and behavioral health care, as well as the educational pathways to prepare for these fields.

A total of 251 students attended the fair, including CSUF students, community college students, and high school students from Anaheim Union High School District and Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District. Fifteen professional organizations participated in the event, many of which are major employers of CSUF graduates and well-known in Southern California.

The fair provided an opportunity for students to learn about the various professional fields within health and behavioral health care. Some of the organizations present at the fair were Orange County Health Care Agency, Hoag Hospital, Kaiser Permanente, Children’s Hospital of Orange County, Veterans Affairs Administration, and more.
