To celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Month, the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History will unveil a temporary exhibit that highlights the achievements, contributions, and impact of AAPI scientists and engineers. The exhibit, which runs from May 1 to May 31, will be located in the museum’s Periodic Hall.
The museum’s president and CEO, Jennifer Hayden, expressed her excitement about the exhibit in a news release. “We are honored to shine a light on the outstanding contributions of these scientists who have enriched our nation,” she said. She hoped that the exhibit would serve as an inspiration for future generations.
Meanwhile, local news outlets reported that the Albuquerque water authority had proposed raising utility rates.
