Workshop on the Influence of Technology on Child Development and Mental Health to Be Hosted by Leading Experts

On April 4th and 5th, the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) and the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) are hosting a workshop that will focus on the impact of technology and digital media on the development and mental well-being of children and adolescents.

The workshop will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on both days, with experts in technology, child development, and mental health leading discussions on both the positive and negative effects of technology on young minds. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore current research findings and discuss future directions in this field.

Sponsored by the National Institute of Mental Health’s Division of Translational Research and NICHD, this free event is open to both members of the scientific community and the general public. To participate in this informative workshop, registration is required beforehand.
