Grace Properties LLC, owned by David and Amanda Trahan, is set to open a new Paradise Grill & Daiquiris location in Youngsville. The company purchased 6.2 acres of land near Sugar Mill Pond for over $2.8 million from Young’s Industries, according to land records.
The Trahans plan to divide the land into five lots, with their business located on the southern end of the property. The remaining lots will be sold to other businesses. Construction is expected to begin in the fall.
In 2022, the Trahans also purchased 1.6 acres of land along Milton Road near the Metairie Center shopping center for $555,000 but later sold it to a Baton Rouge-based development group for $800,000 in 2023 due to an attractive offer that led them to change their minds about selling initially.
David Trahan stated that the new location in Youngsville is a better fit for their business than the previous one. Their goal is to expand into the Lafayette area with five or six locations and also Baton Rouge as well as expanding into other markets like Lake Charles where they currently have four locations including another one set to open on May 1st.
