Eddie Rosario, a former postseason hero and outfielder, has rejoined the Braves organization after playing a significant role in their 2021 World Series run. During the 2021 postseason, Rosario was a key player in the National League Championship Series and earned the NLCS Most Valuable Player award for his impressive performance.
In all 16 games during the postseason, Rosario had a remarkable .560 batting average with three home runs against the Dodgers. Following the World Series victory, Rosario signed a two-year contract with the Braves. However, after the 2023 season, the Braves decided not to pick up their $9 million club option on his contract.
After struggling at the plate with just .183 hits in 67 games for the Washington Nationals in 2024, Rosario will now be reporting to the AAA Gwinnett Braves to continue his career at 32 years old.
