Greater than a dozen rides and points of interest at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, have been closed on Monday as a result of presence of a black bear noticed in a tree on the theme park. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Fee (FWC) confirmed the sighting and acknowledged that employees have been engaged on capturing and relocating the bear. Whereas journey closures will not be unusual, having so many points of interest closed concurrently shortly after the park opened for the day is uncommon. The rides listed as quickly closed on the My Disney Expertise app embrace standard points of interest akin to Large Thunder Mountain Railroad, Haunted Mansion, and Pirates of the Caribbean. A full listing of the closed points of interest as of 11 a.m. consists of Below The Sea – Journey of The Little Mermaid, Walt Disney World Railroad – Fantasyland, Walt Disney World Railroad – Frontierland, Walt Disney World Railroad – Primary Road, U.S.A., Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room, Large Thunder Mountain Railroad, The Corridor of Presidents, Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Pirates of the Caribbean, Swiss Household Treehouse, Nation Bear Jamboree, Liberty Sq. Riverboat, and Tom Sawyer Island. The Magic Kingdom’s working hours are from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., in keeping with Disney’s web site. Additional updates on the state of affairs are awaited.
