In the quarterfinals of the U-17 World Cup in Indonesia, Germany emerged victorious over the United States with a thrilling 3-2 win. The United States was eliminated from the tournament after a late goal by substitute Bilal Yalcinkaya saw them lose to Germany.

The match was played at a fast pace, with Germany taking an early lead with a 14th-minute free kick by Charles Herrmann. However, the United States quickly equalized in the 24th minute with a goal by Taha Habroune. Germany regained the lead before halftime with another free kick, this time by Max Moerstedt.

Germany continued to dominate the game in the second half, but the United States managed to level the scores again in the 75th minute with a free kick by David Vazquez. However, substitute Bilal Yalcinkaya scored a late winner for Germany in injury time, securing their victory and sending them on to face Spain in the next round.
