This will help improve flexibility and range of motion, especially after a sedentary winter. In addition to stretching, cardiovascular exercises such as running, swimming, and cycling can also be beneficial for improving blood flow and managing weight. Davidson suggests easing into the season by starting with 9 holes before attempting 18. Before teeing off, take 10-15 minutes to properly stretch your back, hamstrings, abdominals, arms, and shoulders to reduce the risk of injury on the course.
