The government is committed to supporting the agricultural industry and has established a coordination table for discussions on labor costs, manpower procurement, flow management, training, and simplification. This was announced by Patrizio La Pietra, the undersecretary of Masaf, at a meeting with representatives of Agricultural redemption.
La Pietra emphasized that the government will defend the agricultural sector with the same conviction as it has always done. A new policy for community agricultural projects is being considered, which will have a direct impact on the agricultural industry and its businesses.
The majority of farmers will benefit from new policies that are set to be introduced by the Government. Discussions will begin with regions and agricultural organizations to identify supply chains where the first support interventions will be allocated. Additionally, there are plans to revise the insurance system to lower insurance costs for farmers, increase coverage, and provide better protection against catastrophic risks.
