Update 1.44 for Gran Turismo 7 Introduces New Vehicles, World Circuit Events, and Additional Features

Sony has announced a new update for Gran Turismo 7, which includes the return of an iconic car and limited-time stickers. The update will also introduce three new cars, an additional Café Menu, and three World Circuit Events.

The Toyota GT-One (TS020) ’99 will make its comeback in the update, along with new limited-time stickers. The Jaguar menu has been moved to the Extra Menus section, specifically Extra Menu No. 37 for Collector Level 41 and above. World Circuits will also see the addition of new events such as the European Clubman Cup 600, Schwarzwald League, and World Touring Car 900.

Players can also look forward to official TV animation series Highspeed Étoile stickers being available for a limited time in the GT Auto / Livery Editor. A selection of 26 stickers including title logos and character stickers inspired by the anime will be offered. Fukushima has also been added as a featured Curation in Scapes.

Gran Turismo 7 was initially launched on PlayStation 4 and 5 in March 2022 and received positive reviews. The game combines elements from the original Gran Turismo and GT Sport, focusing on both traditional formats and competitive online racing. Polyphony Digital, the game’s developer, has maintained a strong user base following its release according to series development chief Kazunori Yamauchi.
