Students from a regional elementary college are headed to the VEX Robotics Globe Championship — if they can raise $17,000 by mid-April.
Smith Elementary’s Sonic Cyborgs, a VEX IQ Elementary group, competed in the Indiana State Robotics Championship at Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday. The team’s efficiency in Indianapolis certified them for planet competitors 3 instances more than, mentioned STEM teacher and coach Lisa Haines. The Sonic Cyborgs had a qualifying abilities score, won the Produce Award and came in third location for the Teamwork Challenge Award.
