Israeli Army Targets 100 Locations in Rafah, Kills 30 Alleged ‘Terrorists’

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed that they have killed approximately 30 alleged “terrorists” since the start of the invasion of the city of Rafah. The invasion began with the seizure of the Palestinian side of the border crossing, one of the few avenues of humanitarian aid that remained. The Israeli Army has targeted a hundred locations in Rafah, including buildings suspected of being used as Hamas operations centers, resulting in the elimination of 30 “terrorists.”

In a statement, the IDF emphasized that they had reached Rafah and attacked the area, surrounding the crossing and taking control of it. They also stated that they would remain in the area as long as necessary to carry out their mission. The invasion came after weeks of threats from Benjamin Netanyahu’s government despite warnings from international community about catastrophic consequences it could have on nearly 1.4 million people trapped in the area.
