Edith P. Mitchell, MD, MACP, FCCP, FRCP (London), has been named enterprise vice president for cancer disparities at Jefferson Health’s Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center.
In this new part, Mitchell will be accountable for creating and coordinating operations for cancer care disparities across Jefferson.
She will oversee a group focused on cancer care top quality and price-effectiveness, as properly as patient-oriented outcomes. Mitchell also serves as director of Center to Remove Cancer Disparities and clinical professor of medicine and healthcare oncology at Jefferson Health’s Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center. She joined Jefferson in 1995.
