On Sunday, November 19, 2023, John E. Anzak passed away at the age of 66 in his home in Hannibal, Ohio. Born on July 31, 1957, to Shirley Cochran and John Anzak, he spent a lifetime working in the US Postal Service.

For over 30 years, Anzak served as a postmaster for the US Postal Service before retiring on his birthday in 2009. During his career, he was known for being a dedicated and hardworking employee.

Outside of work, John enjoyed spending time outdoors on fishing trips and watching sports with friends and family. He also had a love for music and often attended concerts at home with loved ones.

John is survived by his brother James Anzak of St.Clairsville, OH; niece Megan Anzak of Taylors, SC.; step-niece Kelly Reasbeck of Marins Ferry; and three first cousins. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him as he was an incredible friend and family member who always put others before himself.
