Vikings star receiver Justin Jefferson has been out of play since October 8th when he sustained a right hamstring injury during a game against the Chiefs. Although he has been practicing on a limited basis for the past two weeks, he was listed as questionable for the last two games and did not play. As of now, he remains on injured reserve.
The team is being cautious with Jefferson’s soft-tissue injury, a decision that Jefferson has also committed to. He understands that hamstring injuries can linger and has stated that he won’t rush his return until his leg is fully healed. Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell mentioned that Jefferson had a good week of practice last week and that they will have an extra day this week to assess his status. As a result, Jefferson views himself as questionable for Monday Night Football.
