Junipero Serra High School’s Space Squad: Pushing Boundaries and Inspiring Future Scientists

Recently, Junipero Serra High School in Gardena held a pep rally to celebrate the achievements of its innovative space squad. The team, comprising seniors Isaiah Dunn, Christopher Holbert, Travis Leonard, Anderson Pecot, and Henry Toler, junior Keith Davie, and freshman Jonathan Cruz, presented their 3D-printing experiment sent into space on the International Space Station.

The team members’ goal is not only to push the boundaries of knowledge with their experiment but also to establish their school as a leading institution for studying science. Travis Leonard expressed his excitement about being pioneers in this field and setting a new path for future students at Serra.
