SABIC Fujian Petrochemicals has recently awarded KBR a contract to license its phenol technology in China. This project involves providing technology licensing and engineering design for a 250,000-ton phenol plant at SABIC’s Fujian Petrochemical Complex. The project, which was announced in January 2024, is expected to be completed by 2026.
