Nelson and Westhead Selected as Inductees for the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2024

Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame’s Class of 2024 announced on Tuesday includes former Saint Joseph’s standouts Jameer Nelson and Paul Westhead. Along with these two inductees, the organization also recognized George Benton, Rod Brind’Amour, Angelo Cataldi, Joan (Moore) Gnat, Brendan Hansen, Ryan Howard, Lurline Jones, Cheryl Reeve, Eddie Stanky, Andy Talley, A. W. Tillinghast, Chase Utley and Alice Putnam Willetts.

This year’s induction ceremony will take place on Thursday, November 7 at the Live! Casino & Hotel Event Center in South Philadelphia. The event is open to the public and more information and registration can be found at www.philadelphiasportshalloffame.org.
