On March 20th, around 4 p.m., a nine-year-old girl was bitten on the thigh and bottom by one of three dogs in the fairy tale forest on Krechtinger Straße in Hamminkeln, North Rhine-Westphalia. The incident involved two unidentified women and their dogs.
According to reports, the girl was playing in the area when the women with the dogs approached. The dogs were reportedly running freely when one of them suddenly bit the girl. The girls ran to a nearby friend’s house to report what had happened. When their parents arrived with the dogs, the women and dogs were nowhere to be found.
One of the dogs is described as a Shiba Inu, but despite initial investigations, no progress has been made in locating the women and their dogs. As a result, the police are asking for more witnesses or information about the dogs and their owners. Anyone with information is urged to contact Wesel police at 0281/107-0.
