As aspect of its Meet the Editor speaker series, Anderson alumnus Jonathan Bundy, associate editor for the Academy of Management Overview (AMR), lately presented to Anderson College of Management faculty members on his study on cancel culture and greatest practices for publishing in AMR.
Bundy shared that he and his co-authors are not researching cancel culture as the topic of the study, but how it can impact corporations and their brands by means of their organization operations. They assert that corporations must be conscious of this phenomenon and how it can impact their reputation and public perception. He also shared techniques other researchers can expand on this original paper and additional have an understanding of the effects of cancel culture on corporations.
He also presented insights into how to position articles for acceptance by AMR. “Begin by pondering about what is presently mentioned about your study subject and create onto it, taking it to the subsequent level. You are advancing study by adding to the conversation and moving it forward,” he mentioned.
