ManTech secures $166 million contract with Defense Health Agency

In a recent development, ManTech International Corporation has been awarded a $166 million contract to provide DevSecOps support for the Defense Health Agency’s (DHA) Medical Logistics (MEDLOG) Information Technology (IT) Program Management Office. The 5-year hybrid new business/recompete win marks a significant milestone in ManTech’s ongoing efforts to modernize and sustain military and civilian IT systems.

According to Stephen Deitz, Executive Vice President and General Manager of ManTech’s Federal Civilian Sector, the company’s work with the DHA will help achieve digital transformation for a large suite of applications that support medical services for the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps. By utilizing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), ManTech will migrate these systems to AWS cloud, serving over 25,000 military and civilian users daily and processing over 940,000 supply requisitions.

The goal of this project is to accelerate mission performance and support the delivery of medical services to combatants in both peacetime and wartime scenarios. This aligns perfectly with the client’s vision of enabling ready, reliable care anytime, anywhere through modernized, integrated, and resilient medical logistics capabilities domestically and abroad.
