The Marietta High School boys soccer program had an impressive season that ended with a deep postseason run. Coach Todd Morris was honored with several awards, including the Twin State League Coach of the Year and the Southeast District Coach of the Year. He also received his 11th conference coach of the year award after leading the Tigers to a 16-2-2 finish, a TSL, MOVSL sectional, and district championship.

Several members of the Tigers’ soccer team also received individual awards. Senior forward Mac Threatt was recognized as both the TSL Player of the Year and the Southeast District Player of the Year after scoring 34 goals with seven assists and becoming Marietta’s all-time leading goal-scorer. Juniors Landon Koscho and Blake Limegrover were named first-team, all-district selections for their impressive performances during the season. Koscho finished with 10 goals and nine assists while Limegrover scored 14 goals and accounted for a team-high 18 assists.

Additional Tigers receiving awards included Cameron Davis, Caden Gebczyk, Josh Fournier, Connor Rings, Colin Davis, and Cash Wheeler. Davis was recognized for his contributions to the team after scoring 13 goals and six assists while earning second-team district honors. Gebczyk made several saves as Marietta’s starting keeper and had eight clean sheets, earning him recognition as MOVSL Defensive Player of the Year. Fournier and Rings received all-TSL honors while Davis earned honorable mention district recognition along with Wheeler.

Overall, it was a successful season for both individuals and teams in Marietta High School boys soccer program that saw them achieve greatness in their respective areas.
