Marvel has announced its new game “Marvel Rivals,” which will be an Overwatch-style shooting game featuring a wide range of heroes and villains. The game will pit two teams of six members against each other for control of the battlefield. Developed by NetEase Game, the story of “Marvel Rivals” revolves around the confrontation between Doctor Doom and his future counterpart from the year 2099, causing multiple universes to collide in the Time Stream Tangle. Superheroes and supervillains from various multiverses must come together to fight against these threats.

The game will be free to play and will initially feature 18 characters, including popular heroes like Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, and Spider-Man, as well as villains like Loki and Magneto. NetEase has promised continuous updates with new heroes, arenas, and content for players to enjoy. One unique feature of “Marvel Rivals” is the ability for two heroes to combine their powers to perform more powerful attacks, offering an innovative twist to the gameplay. With a diverse cast of characters and ongoing updates, the game aims to provide an immersive and engaging experience for fans of the Marvel universe.
